Jesse and Katie have been dating since September 2004. They decided to end their relationship in mid 2007 as the strain of their careers on their relationship was too great.
Jesse and Katie first met in Anahiem, California when they were 15 years old. Jesse was touring with Dream Street and Katie happened to be backstage with her manager. They've been great friends since then and started dating in fall 2004 with Greg Raposo (Katie's ex-boyfriend and Jesse's friend)'s approval.
Teen People magazine was the first to officially announce Jesse and Katie's relationship and the magazine with which they did their first photoshoot together.
Jesse rented Katie a hotel suite for her to celebrate her 18th birthday. He also set up a full day of activities about which Katie says, "He worked for it, which I liked."
They went out for ice cream on their first date!
They spent the entire day at the beach on another one of their first dates!

Jesse says he's using the "method actor" approach for his upcoming film "Keith" - "I'll be Keith on and off set for three month. My girlfriend Katie is worried I'm going to be a real ass because Keith is a bit of an ass. She's going to have to call me Keith!"
Jesse and his entire family spent Thanksgiving in 2005 with Katie and her family at her house!
Jesse took Katie to Disneyland in California for a weekend for her 19th birthday in November 2005!
Jesse and Katie tried their best to spend Christmas 2005 together. Katie flew home to California from New York on Christmas Eve where she was spending time with Jesse and his family and then the day after Christmas Jesse flew back to California to celebrate Christmas with her family!

For their anniversary in 2006, Jesse & Katie went to Maui, Hawaii!
